‘To Mars’A longer term collaboration with Mini Moon Theatre, starting in Unit 9 I designed the set for this childrens play centered around two siblings travelling to mars. I came onto the project for the second set of 45 Minute performances. We are now looking towards the Camden Fringe to put on the third rendition.The design features three transformable set pieces to account for the 4.5 different locations within the play, all under a tent of fabric and hanging stars/ planets. The inspiration for this design was based in the ages of the children, taking inspiration from the montessori education theory and ‘blanket forts’.
