SUMMARY:
I am an approachable and friendly person who prides myself on completing any task with efficiency and excellence, all whilst keeping a smile on my face. I am an aspiring Theme Park Designer and believe that impactful design is done when considering theme parks as large-scale immersive theatre. Creating theatre is still a large passion of mine, and when designing for the stage, I focus on intricate details to immerse audiences fully into the story. I aim to bring this same attention to detail and storytelling into the world of themed entertainment.

CORE SKILLS:
  • Teamwork and Collaboration
  • Model Making
  • Concept Design

REALISED THEATRE WORK:

Lead Set Designer:  “To Mars” - A Mini Moon Theatre Production at the Wimbledon College of Arts 2025 [Soon to be: Camden Fringe 2025]

I was the lead set designer and creator for a production of  ‘To Mars’ Written by Megan
Holman, Johanna Baldurs and Fionnuala O’gorman.  designed the set for this children’s play centred around two siblings travelling to Mars. I came onto the project for the second set of 45-minute performances. We are now looking towards the Camden Fringe to put on the third rendition.

Lead Set Designer: Voicing Justice - Defining Femininity at the Wimbledon College of Arts 2023-24
My collaborators and I took inspiration from motherhood and femininity as a whole for this show. The set comprised four mirrors that I had designed, all of which encompassed the 4 topics within the piece that the actors had written. All were paired with hanging pieces to elevate the set.

Theatre Designer: Moving Days - Metamorphosis at the Wimbledon College of Arts Theatre 2024
Working with 3 professional actors alongside the 9 collaborators within my class we developed a show following the vague story of two characters missing the third, with one wanting to connect and the other denying missing them. The set took on the form of an open plan living room covered entirely with polka dots with only the actor’s costumes being a differing colour/ pattern.

EXHIBITIONS:

Hannah Clarkson’s ‘Whole Body Like Gone’ -  Jocelyn Herbert & Samuel Beckett: Wimbledon Space, London
Whilst in my second year at university, my collaborative group and I were given the opportunity to exhibit our Jocelyn Herbert Happy Days-inspired film within an instillation during Hannah Clarkson’s exhibition “Whole Body Like Gone”. The film was a ‘What’s in my bag?’ parody featuring Happy Day’s Winnie trapped in a mound of postcards.

Great Editions: Snape Maltings, Suffolk
From the 31st of March to the 24th of April 2023 my work was part of a larger exhibition at the Snape Maltings concert hall in my home county of Suffolk. It was an exhibition of 65 prints showcasing the work of past and present students of Woodbridge School.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

Retail Host: Madame Tussauds London
My current job features a large variety of roles within Madam Tussauds, including working in the exit gift shop and maintaining 2 of the bars on site. However, I spend the majority of my time hand-making wax shells of the guest’s hands.

Outdoor Food Vending: Hollywood Studios at Walt Disney World, Orlando Florida
During my time on the Cultural Exchange Program in 2022, I was fortunate to take on a position in Hollywood Studios’ Outdoor food vending department. It was here I gained firsthand experience and knowledge of the importance of theme park design. Whilst on the program I was also lucky enough to attend talks held by imagineers on design.

Cast Member: The Disney Store on Oxford Street, London
My role featured a plethora of duties, I developed my ability to communicate proficiently and how to learn information quickly, whilst also developing preexisting skills such as teamwork and adaptability. I also occasionally took on more visual roles within the layout of the store.

Merchandise Cast Member: The Lion King at The Lyceum Theatre, London
